Roads & Infrastructure Surveys
With a client base including many consultants and civil engineers, Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys Ltd provide a range of survey services used in conjunction with the planning, design and construction phases of roads, bridges, tunnels and other public infrastructure projects.
Where works are required on live carriageways we have in-house experience of dealing with the relevant authorities to obtain permits to work, as required.
All works are completed utilising signage to approved Chapter 8 standards and, if necessary, we partner with recognised industry providers of traffic management services should any lane closure requirements be necessary.
Works can be coordinated to take into account peak traffic flows and where necessary night-shift rotas are implemented.
Our survey equipment and experience enables support of any size of project, large or small, all undertaken with the same high level of skill and professionalism.
Where projects cover areas of varying terrain, i.e. a pipeline route covering open ground, areas of forestry and a river crossing, our large portfolio of equipment enables us to alternate between the most appropriate item at any one time, RTK GPS, Total Station, UAV drone or survey launch, ensuring complete coverage of the survey area. Data can be further incorporated into BIM models and processes.
We have been involved in some of the largest construction projects in the UK with our survey teams often deployed at short notice, at times within challenging environments, to ensure that overall project timings are maintained.
All works are fully project managed in-house by experienced personnel covering all areas such as site access, health and safety, interface with the public and / or relevant authorities.
