Fife Energy Park

Combined multibeam, geophysical and magnetometer surveys were completed over a pre-determined area, with all data being used by environmental consultants in the preparation of a capital dredge license.

Utilising vibrocore technology, No. 12 vibrocore samples, to a depth of 3m in some areas, were recovered before being logged, sub-sampled and sent to a UKAS accredited laboratory for further analysis in line with Marine Scotland guidelines. Although adverse weather was encountered, this high-priority project was completed ahead of the original project deadline.
