Following a stringent ITT process, Argyll & Bute Council has appointed Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys Ltd as their principal contractor to conduct hydrographic and geophysical surveys within all of its port and harbour areas. The work will be completed over a six year survey framework agreement, with a fixed schedule agreed for each port and harbour with the option for additional ad-hoc works.

The works will ensure compliance with the Council’s requirement with respect to the Port Marine Safety Code to routinely survey its marine areas of responsibility to maintain safe passage and navigation.

With all 20 ports & harbours located within a variety of mainland and island environments, Aspect Land & Hydrographic Surveys’ range of vessels ensures that the survey can be completed cost-effectively within any location.
